Try one RAW image and a small album
Use a copy of one RAW photo and a small album. Check camera support, ratings and the exported image before moving a larger library.
What it’s useful for
LightCraft combines image organization with non-destructive photo development. Ratings, albums and comparison views sit alongside light, colour and masking controls. Its current documentation is unusually specific about camera coverage: a displayed preview may come from an embedded JPEG when a RAW variant is unsupported.
Inside the product
- Develop images with light, colour, tone curves, grading and documented masking controls.
- Organize images with folders, albums, ratings, labels and comparison views.
- Keep editing settings separate from original images and export developed results.
Good to know
- The publisher marks the product alpha and documents incomplete camera-colour calibration and model-specific RAW coverage.
- Some unsupported RAW variants use an embedded JPEG preview. An image appearing on screen is not proof that sensor data was decoded.
- No camera-file trial, Lightroom catalog import or colour-accuracy benchmark was performed here; optional AI models need separate setup.
The maker’s build notes
The original maker’s development account names this repository among the creative tools built using Claude. That establishes maker-reported AI-assisted development, separate from the product’s agent-control features. Current capability and alpha-status descriptions follow the repository; no full authorship or product-quality audit is claimed.
A few more details
Why test files from my own camera?
RAW coverage depends on camera model, compression variant and colour calibration. Use the documented support notes and keep original files. No independent decoding or colour test was run here.
