Information you provide
Accounts store your display name, email address, verification status and optional avatar. Password sign-in stores a password hash rather than your plain password.
We also store favorites, reviews, listing submissions, ownership evidence, promotion inquiries and contact messages that you choose to submit. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information in these forms.
Why information is used
Account information supports sign-in and access to private records. Contributions support directory moderation, product management and replies to requests. Operational records help investigate failures and abuse.
We do not treat a matching email address as proof that an anonymous submission or promotion inquiry belongs to an account.
Public and private information
Published product listings and published reviews are public. A review can display your name and avatar. Private favorites, account email, ownership evidence and internal review notes are not included in public listing responses.
Information sent to us through contact or promotion forms is available to authorized operators for handling that request.
Service providers and external sites
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, image storage and transactional email delivery. If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes that sign-in and shares the account information needed to create or access your account. Optional analytics are currently disabled.
Following a third-party product link leaves vibeforthat. That provider controls its own collection and use of information.
Browser storage
Sign-in uses session cookies. Language and theme preferences and the comparison shortlist use browser storage. A per-tab marker limits repeated product-view counting. Read the cookie page for the current storage categories.
Retention and requests
Operational scheduling logs, stopped-worker records and usage summaries are kept for up to 90 days. Resolved contact messages are kept for up to 90 days after resolution. Open requests are retained until handled. These limits do not automatically delete accounts, products, orders or editorial history. Database and uploaded-image backups are retained for 30 days; older copies expire after a new complete backup succeeds.
Contact support@vibeforthat.com to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that you control the account or product before changing private records. Account and product records remain while needed to provide the service or handle a dispute. Removed data may remain in protected backups until their retention period ends.

Send privacy questions through the contact page and identify the relevant account or listing. This page will be updated when the deployed service or its data handling changes.
