AGENT SKILLS
Jesse Vincent / obra (publisher)Superpowers Skill for Planning and Verification
Superpowers is a skills framework and development methodology connecting design clarification, planning, implementation and review. It emphasizes test-driven development and explicit checks, with setup routes for different coding-agent environments.

Start with one practical task
Use one change with a visible acceptance condition. Check that the plan identifies what will change, how to test it and what evidence will count as a pass before implementation starts.
Move from intent to a concrete plan
The workflow clarifies what should be built before implementation. A plan then breaks the agreed design into tasks that can be executed and reviewed. This structure helps when requirements are unclear or a change spans several parts of the codebase.
The agent integration is part of setup
Superpowers documents different setup routes for different environments. Package source, host support and loading mechanisms affect what is available in a session. One agent’s installation route does not establish that the same commands or behavior apply elsewhere.
Keep each task small enough to verify
For a sign-up form change, a useful task boundary includes the intended interaction, validation behavior and completion evidence. A narrow task can reveal an incorrect assumption early. Its value comes from observable outcomes, rather than a list of completed edits.
Use the workflow alongside actual checks
A workflow package cannot certify a particular change. Relevant evidence comes from application assertions, observed behavior and review of the resulting code. Recording limitations is more useful than assuming a completed sequence guarantees correctness.
A few more details
Is installation identical in every agent?
The maintainer separates setup by environment. Follow the route for the agent and execution surface you actually use.
Does the workflow guarantee autonomous delivery?
It organizes development work. Delivery still depends on the requirements, repository, tools and checks for the particular change.
