blob.day vs Doodle

A shared grid, not a booking page

The overlap here is choosing a group meeting time. blob.day describes painting availability on a live grid; Doodle’s group-poll workflow proposes times for people to vote on. A Booking Page is a different Doodle workflow and is outside this comparison.

What the smaller product covers

• Date-range events with drag-to-paint availability.
• A live color-weighted overlap grid for a group.
• Participant-local times and a Timezone Compass.

What to check before moving

• The site labels the product v0.9.1-beta. Recurring schedules and email notifications sit under Early Access.
• The public New Event form stays locked until an identity flow is completed. Sign-in and guest-identity controls were visible; neither was submitted.
• Calendar import is on the feature-voting list. Automatic Google or Outlook conflict detection was not confirmed.

Try the same small task

Use the same content or candidate times in both products. Check the finished mobile view, who can respond, and where the result goes. This is a source-based scope comparison; no completed migration or end-to-end trial is claimed.
