Add a plugin for a workflow you actually need: feature development, PR review, Git work or Figma context. Check the publisher and package contents before treating a marketplace listing as a recommendation.

Start with one practical task
Inspect what a plugin adds to the workflow, including skills, commands or connections where documented. Try one package in a small project and verify that its permissions and outputs match the job.
Map jobs to concrete plugins
Current catalog examples include feature-dev for feature workflow, code-review for PR review and commit-commands for Git commit workflows. Figma targets design context and design workflows. These are task examples, not tested quality rankings.
Inspect the package boundary
Plugins may contain skills, agents, hooks and MCP servers. Read the package source and required account access. A standalone skill or a single MCP connection may be sufficient for a smaller job.
Evaluate one workflow at a time
Compare required inputs, output artifact, tool access and maintenance. Define one acceptance case, then retain the plugin only if its output helps the actual project. Installation scope and organization policy belong in the setup reference.
