Try a self-hosted project list
Create a small list or board with a recurring task. Check setup and backup responsibilities before moving shared work.
What it’s useful for
OpenTodo combines a daily task list with shared project boards on a server you run. It is a closer match to personal dates and a small team board than to a managed task subscription with someone else responsible for operation.
Inside the product
- Projects can be organized as lists or boards, with sections and task assignments.
- Date-aware quick add, repeating tasks and reminders support everyday task planning.
- Official migration guides cover supported task apps; data remains in a server the user runs.
Good to know
- Self-hosted software rather than a managed Todoist subscription: budget for a server, updates, backups and remote access.
- The project is young. Public pages showed different version strings; omit a precise latest version unless rechecked at release time.
- The public demo is temporary sample data, not a durable place for real tasks.

A few more details
Can I move every task rule from my current app?
Official import guides are a starting point. They do not prove that attachments, automation rules, permissions or every date field transfer. Test a copy of a representative project before moving real work.
