What is Character.AI?
Character.AI centers on conversations with AI characters. Character and persona context influence the story, while memory tools help retain selected details; generated character statements are not factual authorities.
Official website: character.aiWhat should you pin in a Character.AI conversation?
Pin the details that would change the story if the character forgot them, such as a relationship, a location, or an agreement. Character.AI’s help guide describes how to save messages in Pinned Memories within a chat.
- Pin a short message with one clear fact. Check the saved message in the memory panel.
- After a few turns, ask about the detail in a different way to see if the character uses it in context.
