Suno generates music from a description of the song you want to hear. Simple Mode is a starting point for exploring a genre, mood or lyrical idea, then listening to the resulting tracks inside Suno.

Start with the specific song you want to use. Record when it was generated, which plan was active, and whether it was a remix. Suno’s help center says an upgrade generally does not grant retroactive commercial rights to tracks made on the free plan.
- Confirm the current terms for that track before adding it to a client deliverable or monetized release. Ask Suno if the upgrade and track dates make the answer unclear.
- Keep the track link and the applicable plan and rights information with your project records.
