Give the skill one screen, its real content and a visual direction. Ask for an output you can inspect and verify it against the component system and mobile layout.

A coherent direction before individual components

The skill starts with the interface’s purpose and visual character. Typography, spacing and composition work together to make that direction recognizable. Individually attractive components can still produce a page without a clear hierarchy or identity.

A concrete brief gives the design boundaries

For a developer-tool directory, the central task might be comparing tools and opening a useful resource. Audience, brand colors, reusable components and mobile states make that goal concrete. Different inputs can lead the same skill toward a different visual direction.

Source and setup depend on the client

The current official source is in the anthropics/skills repository. Claude Code loads resources through its documented skill and plugin mechanisms. Similarly named packages can have different publishers and instructions, so both the repository owner and the chosen client matter.

Judge the interface against its actual job

A useful result makes the main action obvious, keeps text readable and preserves hierarchy across screen sizes. Keyboard focus, contrast, empty states and long content need separate checks. A screenshot captures appearance; interaction review reveals whether users can complete the intended task.
